November updates

Hi hi! Time for a monthly update ~

First up, I am so so grateful to be listed as one of this year’s The 30 Photographers (formerly known as PDN 30). I used to daydream about being on this list as a photo student back in the day so it honestly feels like a dream come true!! You can see more about it at /

I also have a piece in Humble Art Foundation’s most recent online exhibit “Two Way Lens: Portraits as Empathy”, which you can view here:

This past week I’ve had the chance to attend the 2020 edition of the Women Photograph workshop, which was taking place over zoom this year which made it accessible to me for the first time!! Constantly in awe and so grateful to be part of this amazing collective.

These last few months I got to work on a really fun project in collaboration with Massivart & the city of Montreal / my first public art installation! Les Essentiels is a sculpture garden that accompanies my portrait series of the same title, documenting community members of villeray-saint-michel-parc-extension. The installation is up at Jarry park until the end of November.  Each sculpture has a QR code that links to portraits and interviews with essential workers in the neighborhood.

You can see more about it here: /

& lastly (for now), here are some puberty images I’ve been slowly editing from my time in Mexico before the pandemic.
